Rodinia

Antarctica casts a spell of tranquil calm like no place else I've ever been. It's almost as if the lack of civilization allows the atmosphere to be free of the frenetic vibration caused by human consciousness.

You can see forever. Drinking in the pristine air quenches a thirst you didn't know you had. When you depart, you ache to return. It feels like it could be Home.
A recent Press Release from the GSA (Geological Society of America) gives further credence to RODINIA, the supercontinent that pre-dates Pangaea. A long, long time ago Texas and Antarctica were very likely connected. Well I'll be danged.  Here is the LEMAIRE CHANNEL.

It takes quite an imagination to see the resemblance.

Park rules state all vehicles must face outward to expedite a fast getaway, should one be required.

This is a seriously cool place, bound to scare the bejesus out of the most intrepid. Smells like hell.

The View from Nest Egg

Bob and Alicia’s recreational vehicle can do something Beauregard can only dream of… FLOAT!

The view from “NEST EGG” bobbing gently somewhere in New Jersey.
